Cookie Notice
Effective date: May 3, 2026
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies — such as localStorage and browser-based storage — for preferences and analytics. This notice explains exactly what Coutari.ai uses, why, and how you can control each category.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for authentication, security, and core site function. Cannot be disabled without breaking login and checkout.
- Functional. Remember your preferences — theme (light/dark), language, consent choice — so you do not re-select them each visit.
- Analytics and product usage. Help us understand feature usage and improve speed, reliability, and usability. Only activated with your consent where required by applicable law.
- Marketing. We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, this notice will be updated and fresh consent will be requested where required.
3. Cookie inventory
This table covers all cookie and localStorage keys currently deployed on Coutari.ai and CatchMeTonight. It will be updated whenever new cookies are added.

4. Manage your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the preference strip below. You can also configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies — note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent login and payment from working.
Clicking this button re-opens the preference strip at the bottom of the page.
5. Jurisdiction-specific notes
- India. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), consent for non-essential cookies must be free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous. You may withdraw consent at any time via the preference strip. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Australia. The Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APP 1, APP 5) require that collection of personal information via cookies be notified fairly and with adequate notice. This notice and our Privacy Policy together form the required collection notice.
- New Zealand. The Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles (IPP 3) apply to personal information collected through cookies and similar technologies on New Zealand-resident users.
- United States.Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not currently sell personal data or use advertising cookies. If analytics tools fall within "sharing" under your state law, use the “Essential only” option in the preference strip to opt out.
6. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when we add new cookies, change providers, or when applicable law changes. Material updates will be communicated by in-app notice or email to active account holders where required by law. The “Effective date” at the top reflects the current version.
